Cute, but huge. I love the bag, but did not expect it to be so big! Definitely a little larger than I usually carry around all the time, which is what I got it for (day to day purse), but it's so cute that I think I will keep it anyways use it for weekend trips or to carry my makeup/bathroom stuff on longer trips. It's almost the size of a small duffel. I got it in red it's a great color, not super bright but a nice deep red (but not maroon).
